It took a lot of development before we were ready to unleash a printed cycling short on the world and the Soleil Short is a beauty. As with all our cycling bottoms, the goal was comfort and performance first. Additionally the Soleil needed to have UPF 50+ fabric to pair up with its Soleil top counterparts. We also wanted this short to look better on the body than most of the printed bottoms on the market, so we sculpted 6 panels and inserted a lovely, tonal print at the sides, curving upward to the lower back. Additional features: extra-wide waistband with enclosed inch elastic and 4.5 inch center back yoke; flat seam construction; pocket at center back waist with 4.5 inch exposed zipper (will fit a smartphone); 2 inch elastic-free leg bands; new Fleet Air chamois. 8.5 inch inseam.
